The
first step is to remove the first row of tiles to
enable us to remove the fascia board, soffit board
and guttering.
Once
all the timber fascia and soffit has been removed,
any rotten timber to the spar ends can be cut out
and replaced.
The
soffit and fascia can then be replaced with 16mm replacement
fascia and soffit to suit your home. All fixings used
are stainless steel poly-top nails. As fixings are
face fixed and visible, they are measured so as to
keep the work symmetrical.
The
guttering and fall pipes of your choice can then be
installed, after which a sheet of PVC is installed
under the felt and falling into the gutter. Not only
does this protect roof spar ends, but also keeps birds
and other rodents out of your roofline.
